“Fellowship”

  • Worshipping Together
  • Eating Together
  • Learning Together & Encouraging Each other.

Here are some great verses on Fellowship:

“A new command I give you: Love one another.
As I have loved you, so you must love one another.
By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” (John 13:34-35)

“For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”
Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them. “ (Mt 18; Jn 14:23)

“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds,
not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing,
but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” (Hebrews 10:24-25)

“Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.
Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.
If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God.
If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen. (I Peter 4:8-11)

“How would you finish the following sentence:

“The Son of Man came to…..” The bible uses this phrase 3 times. There are 3 different ways the sentence ends:
1) “The son of man came to give his life as a ransom for many” (Mt 20:28)
2) “The son of man came to seek and save the lost.”(Lk 19:10)

Those are the two most common verses. But there is one more verse

3) “The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, ‘Here is a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners.’ But wisdom is proved right by her deeds.” (Matt 11:19)
